ATEX COMPLIANCE PROCESS FLOW

BRAND/MODEL: STILL RX20-20
SERIAL NO: 516230Y00968
GROUP CATEGORY: II 2G IIA T2

BASIC PROCESSES

  1. Risk analysis of the machine according to Atex Group Category definitions, determination of electrical and non-electrical potential ignition sources.
  2. Creation of work order according to risk analysis, and disassembly process of the machine.
  3. Production of Exproof equipment, controls and tests according to the work order.
  4. The assembly, testing and approval process of the produced equipment on the machine.
  5. Technical documentation of the machine (Manual, risk analysis, spare parts list, declarations of the machine and the products used, Operator user manual)

Note: This is a Design-Manufacturing-Quality-Assembly process process. The design changes with each machine and model.

1. STILL RX20-20 was delivered to our factory by making an Entry Detection Control as shown in the image.

≡ Before starting the assembly process on the machine, measurements and calculations are made for the Zener Barriers to be used.
2. The disassembly stage is started and the products to be converted to Atex are determined and the design is started by working with the Project and Design team.

3. Motor drivers, converters, fuses, relays and contactors to be included in the Power Box, which is our certified product, are determined and interior design is made in company with the design team. After the cable connections of the assembled box are made, all power supplies are put into "d" type protection..

≡ Motor drives and heat to the cooling surfaces of the equipment After applying thermal paste then it is mounted.
4. Communication modules are designed and assembled according to the "d" type box produced in accordance with the certificate. The CanBus communication signal cable inside is connected with a special connection method to prevent data loss. Computer connection socket In-cab fault diagnosis connection is made.

5. Zener barrier, relay card and relays are used in the Certified Safe Current Box. Sensor, switch, potency etc. used in the machine. It houses the equipment used to control the sensors with safe current

6. Blue Spot, Flashing Beacon, Buzzer and Headlights on the machine are connected to the Certified Headlight Module Box.

7. Since the machine indicator does not comply with Atex conditions, its safety is ensured by taking it into a certified box.
8. It is used in a double pole battery breaker certified box, which is an Atex product, to separate the electrical connection between the battery and the machine.

9. AC Hydraulic and Travel motors and wiring are housed in a "d" type certified box to prevent sparks or arcing. Cable connections are made directly to the Power Box with Atex records.

10. In order to prevent sparks and arcs that may occur as a result of the coals of the heater fan motor and its operation, it is protected by taking it into a certified cabinet with "d" type protection.

11. Safety is increased by placing the wiper motor in a "d" type protected certified box..

12. 7 billet valves, 4 NTC sensors and 2 encoder sensors in the machine are encapsulated with the "m" type protection application in accordance with the certificate by applying araldite.

13. Since Blue Spot, Flashing Beacon and Headlights are not suitable for Atex, they are replaced with our certified Atex products. The cables are connected to the headlight module box with Atex records.

14. The original battery box is canceled and placed in a 5 mm iron certified cabinet and made suitable for Atex. The arcs that may occur are prevented by applying polyester to the battery cable outlets.

15. Certified Atex Aluminum battery socket is mounted.

16. Travel motors, hydraulic motor, power box, communication box and safe current box are connected to 80°C heat exchangers as an added safety to automatically shut down the machine in case of a possible temperature rise.

17. All cables in the machine are replaced with H01 N2-D Certified cables
18. All cables in the connections made are mounted on Atex equipment through certified records.

19. All equipment with “d” type protection is grounded independently of each other. Machine grounding and removal of static electricity are provided by the attached chains.

20. The conductivity of all plastic parts on the machine is provided by carbon antistatic paint.
21. Since the personnel seat material is not antistatic, it is replaced with leather cover.

22. The forks are covered with 3 mm Inox material and spark formation is prevented.

23. The rubber mats in the machine are changed to aluminum sheet.

24. A two-pipe manual horn was installed.

25. The Atex Compliance Process of the machine has been completed and it is ready to be sent to our customer
